Tommy is now in Kindergarten and is gone from 7:15 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., 5 days a week. I thought I was going to be sad watching him go off to school however he was so proud to do this adventure I could do nothing but be thrilled for him. He was all smiles all morning, afternoon and evening. He had a great day and after two days of school he told me his favorite part is riding the bus. On the first day he met a friend, Lauren who walked him to his class, she is in the first grade. In class he sits next to Olivia, 'Livi" and across from Kate. He sits at the peanut free table at lunch with his peanut allergy friend Blake and gets to play during recess with his buddy Colin. He was the 'Line Leader' already at school bringing everyone to the restroom where he bumped his elbow on the wall and put cream on it at night to be sure it healed correctly. He painted a picture with his name on it, a few bats and some ships. He is excited to go back to school so that he can use his new school supplies. His glue did not work however his teacher gave him hers to keep. On the bus Tommy sits next to a girl, Emily who is in the first grade. He sits right behind the bus driver. The teachers pray to start class and in class and at lunch but the students don't pray. This is all the information I have obtained from Tommy about his first two days of school. We are extremely proud of Tommy and I am just so happy for him! We love you Tommy!
