Well Allie is over 9 months and still has no interest in crawling. She will be positioned and ready to go but then she will drop to her belly and do a right hand Army crawl. If her destination is too far away she will just begin to fuss until assisted. I was catching up on email today when I provided her a toy to play with by my side. She ditched the toy and began to play with unused power cords and Internet cables, under my watchful eye. She then wanted to play with a file sorter that is light, metal and mesh, all new textures for her to explore. I guess all those toys get a little too boring. Now she is playing with her reflection in a clear plastic file bin. Too cute.

Keep toddlers occupied
Were In!
We have moved to Indiania. We still have boxes in many of the rooms but we are here and having fun. The kids love their new house and they have enjoyed the neighborhood. We ride bike every day and bring home lots of sticks, pebbles and other goodies from our trip. We have met some of our neighbors and the kids look out into the back yard to report to me on if the sandbox is 'open'. (Our neighbor has a great large sand box with really cool sand trucks) The kids are 'helping' unpack, they think it is like Christmas, what is in the box? Tommy even have genuine enthusiam, "Ohhhh, look, my shoes!" Too funny to watch their excitement. We are having fun.....

Flash Backs
Here are a few photos from my childhood that remind me of my own kids, enjoy....
I was turning 4 in this photo however if you can look beyond the lovely wallpaper in the background I think Sammie resembles me in her photo below:
On going February Birthday
Sammie's birthday is February 21st and she turned 3 this year. We celebrated her birthday over the course of a week however she liked to talk about her birthday almost every day in February. Now that it is March we have moved on to talking about our move to Indinana. We finally made a count down calender for both the kids to help them understand that our move is only 13 days away! Wow!
