I got my hair done

We have two budding beauty artists at the house. 

I will take any advice on fashion I can get, even from a 4 1/2 year old and a 2 1/2 year old. 

A Birthday is coming...

Sammie turns 5 in a few days and we are planning a party.  This will be the first party for any of the kids so we are all getting very excited.  There will be a total of 8 girls, well 10 including Allie and I and we will be painting some fingers and toes.  (I have hired help from some great friends of ours and their teenage daughters.)  We will also be decorating flip flops, here is the prototype:  (Allie was the guppie who did the comfort test and she approved. The tears at bed time when they had to be taking off her feet proved that she was not kidding, she liked them.  They sat still next to the bed until morning.)

Bowling with Friends

Well here in IN we have had some strange weather and with that brought some snow days, so here we are out bowling with friends on one of those days off from our standard routine.

So last year we had a friend take a great family photo right after we ordered our Christmas cards. Well this year it happened again, here it is.....

Allie just makes me smile...

Allie loves hats.  This is a hockey helmet that Sammie made at Pre-school when learning about letter H.  Allie took it for herself as soon as we were home. 

 Here Allie is preparing her baby for potty training.  Did you know that when a baby doll has poops you need a whole container of wipes?  (And mom being preoccupied with making dinner.)
