Heart Healthy
Since I am in training for the Chicago 1/2 marathon in September I have been doing a lot of running during the week. Tom also has been getting back into some running too. We have explained to the kids the importance of keeping our heart healthy and one way of doing that is exercising. We talk in great deal about what is exercise, running, walking, galloping, riding bikes, riding the scooter, etc. Tommy enjoys asking, "Is this exercising mom?" Most the time he is right but one time he asked, "Is watching TV exercising?" Nope, sorry Tommy. Below are some photos of Tom teaching the kids to stretch after exercising.

Travel to NY
Well we made the 12 hour trip to NY to see Grandma Alman, Grandpa Gordy and Great, Great Aunt Gladys. GG Aunt Gladys is 86 years old and still sharp as a tack. She is a beautiful woman and I am so greatful that God blessed us with the opportunity for Tommy, Sammie and Allie to meet her. Tommy was so thrilled with meeting GG Aunt Gladys that he wanted everyone to know that she was His Aunt Gladys and no one elses. He made a special request to have her ride in the car with us, so Tom Sr. got moved over to grandma's car. Tommy tried to hold her hand a few times, but she walks with a cane so that did not pan out. The kids did great on the car ride, probaby one too many, "Are we in NY yet?" questions but that was more b/c they really don't understand that it takes a while to drive through a few states.

Allison's allergies
We had Allison tested for a milk allergy today along with Eggs, Peanut and Dog. She is allergic to Egg. We had a skin test and the reaction was large but the Dr. does not believe that she would have anaphilactic attact from the egg. He said we should be ok as long as we don't feed her raw eggs or a cooked egg. She can continue to eat egg in baked products as long as no reaction continues. So we add another allergen to our diet in the Seiler home. Happy Cooking.

Truth in photos
I love this photo, it reflects so much reality.
Tommy is jumping from the wheel of the backhoe to show his strength. He is all about trying to grow up really big so that he can be bigger than dad some day. He eats a good dinner and references how he will be growing. In the morning he talks about how long he slept and that means he is growning. He drinks lots of water and makes a point to tell us that it is good for him and helps him to grow.
Sammie is needing assistance to lower herself down to the step of the tracter to jump. She wants to do everything Tommy does however we have to remind her that she is just 3 and sometimes she can't do everything that her older brother can. She talks a lot about, "Well when I am 4......"
Finally Allison, she watches her older brother and sister with intent and also wants to participate, so she holds a different type of hoe. She chimes in at all times, she wants to be where they are and if anyone is talking she begins to babble sometimes so loud that the conversation has to break until she is done.
